The Travelers Hotel—the founding project of Coahoma Collective—is a boutique hotel in downtown Clarksdale, inside a 1920s building which once served as a stopping place for railroad workers traveling through town. The unique hotel employs local and national creatives in exchange for housing, encouraging them to pursue personal projects and entrepreneurial endeavors to better the local community.
